Second Annual Valentine Gala

Second Annual Valentine Gala

The Plymouth Education Foundation held its Second Annual Valentine Gala on Saturday, February 11th at Waverly Oaks Golf Club. This  black tie-optional event featured dinner, dancing, live music featuring Ginamark, and silent & live auctions featuring Plymouth’s own Dick Silva as Auctioneer. We are happy to announce that this event SOLD OUT once again!

During the event, the PEF presented Seth Lawrence, owner of Serious Cycles, with the Adele Manfredi Excellence in Education Award, in recognition of his selfless dedication of time, expertise, and financial contribution to DreamRide. Adele worked as a school teacher in Quincy, Weymouth, and Plymouth. She served on the Plymouth School Committee for over 15 years, 13 as chair, never missing a meeting. She was also a member of the Plymouth Planning Board, Assistant Town Moderator, and Town Meeting Member. Adele was a founding member of the Plymouth Education Foundation. This award was created in her memory to honor those in Plymouth who exemplify extraordinary commitment to education and community.
